Cast of SIX visit Calshot Castle

The cast of smash-hit musical, SIX – who are currently performing at Mayflower Theatre, took time out from their busy schedules this week to visit Calshot Castle in Southampton.

This artillery fort, built by Henry VIII to defend the sea passage to Southampton, was recently used as a Navy and RAF base, and providing the perfect backdrop for the photoshoot with the cast.

From Tudor queens to pop princesses, the six wives of Henry VIII take to the mic to tell their tales in SIX, remixing five hundred years of historical heartbreak into an 80-minute celebration of 21st century girl power.

These Queens may have green sleeves but their lipstick is rebellious red.

This week’s performances of SIX are currently sold out, but the production is back at Mayflower Theatre from Tuesday 16 – Saturday 20 July 2024.
