In the Southampton theatre’s 90 year history many of Motown artists have performed on its stage: Stevie Wonder in January 1969, The Supremes in March 1973, The Detroit Spinners in 1974 and worked their way back on four more occasions, MarvinGaye in September 1981 and The Four Tops couldn’t help themselves coming back in 1970,1972, 1977 and 1982.
